Project Open Core: Final "Final" Build & Setup Pictures

Final Project Pictures

With this last set of pictures, I am officially wrapping up the build.  Its has been a fun project, and I am excited to see what others can do with this particular case.  Thanks to all those who commented.

Here is some of the cable management I had to do in order for everything work work properly and of course look nice.

And here is a "BookEnd" for the project that will allow for faster navigation between the various posts that were set up for this build.

  2. How did you configure that small display that is mounted over the PSU? Is it just a 4th monitor in Windows or something designed for displaying pc metrics?

  3. Just letting you know, thank you SO MUCH for this thorough build log! I came across it after reading your Amazon review on the XSPC res/pump combo and trying to find more info on your build I saw in the photos. I love every single detail of what you've done and will apply a lot, it not all of it, to my black and white Core P3 build!

  5. Hello Zan,

Really nice build and amazing documentation you did for your blog.

What PCIE riser cable did you end up using for your VideoCard, I had tried 3 thermaltake cables and 2 EZDY from amazon and they all had issues (random crashes and Monitor looses video signal).

    Thanks

    1. The 2nd Thermaltake cable along with the EZDY cable are both working. I think the key is to not have tight bends. I used a can of compressed air to guide the diameter of my bends, and so far that seems to be working well.

  6. Do you have a full parts list of your setup including water cooling?

    1. This post has a parts list. I don't have each fitting listed individually, but the various posts do show everything in pictures.

  7. Zane. I have P5 and I am looking to add the something similar to the display you have in from of the PSU. I am unable to look at that part of the log because of some permissions that are set in place. Anything you can send me or open up? Much appreciated. Mike
